The Hajj and Umrah Information Center operator contracts
with one of the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) authorized banks to open
an independent account after coordination with the Ministry to provide 24/7
e-payment service and public holidays from all countries World, and are the following:
Guarantees of the foreign agent
- The
external agent shall determine a bank approved in his country and accepted
by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, and shall open an account therein.
This shall be approved by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah when the foreign
agent is registered.
- The
bank guarantee is issued through the account for the licensee. The bank
guarantees are accepted only through the bank which was approved by the
Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. The electronic regulations are adopted so that
the bank guarantees are not allowed to be opened except through the
account approved by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah .
- Upon
liquidation of the guarantee, the value of the guarantee from the
authorized bank referred to in paragraph (a) above shall be transferred to
the account of the licensee at the bank accredited to the Ministry of Hajj
and Umrah and the contractor with whom the operator is employed.
